Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates will get fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, weight handling and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should focus on clients, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player
• The candidates should have the ability to multitask and demonstrate dependability

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, and operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
• The candidates should be able to place dishes in storage area, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and package take-out food
• The candidates should be able to prepare, heat and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and stock refrigerators and salad bars
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
