Salary: $16.71 hourly for 80 to 120 hours bi-weekly

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to work in dusty environments
- The candidates should be capable of working in hot conditions and able to work in noisy settings
- The candidates should be able to tolerate various odours and be comfortable working in wet/damp environments
- The candidates should be able to work independently and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and be capable of performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
- The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination and be comfortable sitting for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be capable of walking for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized and demonstrate flexibility in their work approach
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle animals and monitor animal health
- The candidates should be able to organize tasks to accomplish the work and perform livestock feeding
- The candidates should be able to treat livestock health issues and feed and tend animals
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- The candidates should be able to maintain livestock performance records and clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and perform general farm duties
