Salary: $23.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Picture Butte, AB
Shifts: Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Tractor and loader
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, and be willing to work outdoors
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions, hot environments, and noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to tolerate various odors and be comfortable working with livestock in all weather conditions
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be capable of handling animals, treating livestock health issues, and feeding and tending to animals
- The candidates should be willing to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens and be capable of detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
