Government of Nunavut’s Qulliq Energy Corporation Department is the sole energy provider for Nunavut, responsible for generating and distributing electricity. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English, Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have one year of experience in customer service

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in a billing environment and knowledge of Nunavut, the land, language and culture
  • The candidates should have knowledge of Nunavut, the land, language and culture and and One year of experience in office administration
  • The candidates should have the ability to communicate in Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun and or French

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare, classify and process monthly utility invoices for distribution
  • The candidates should be able to respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, work orders, meter reads and disconnects
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with delinquent customers to ensure recovery of outstanding accounts
  • The candidates should be able to process delinquent customer security deposits required for reconnection of services
  • The candidates should be able to apply appropriate fees to customer accounts for disconnection notices
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate with staff to validate the accuracy of monthly meter read reports
  • The candidates should be able to process work orders for customer connections, disconnections and account transfers

  • The candidates will get Northern living Allowance of $16008.00 per annum
