Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling as required, and be capable of handling heavy loads, ensuring effective management of physical demands
- The candidates should be able to work in a physically demanding environment, maintaining stamina and strength throughout their tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work, ensuring precision and attention to detail, and demonstrate sound judgement, making informed decisions in various situations
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently meeting expectations and fulfilling their responsibilities, and be a team player, collaborating effectively with others to achieve common goals
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- The candidates should be able to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, and fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
- The candidates should be able to supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
