Pals Supermarket (Broadway) based in Winnipeg, MB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Cashier. Pals Supermarket (Broadway) is a family owned typical grocery store that sells fresh produce, meats, dairy products , bakery goods alongside canned, frozen and prepared foods. We have full butcher shop in house. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, flexible, should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate the cash register
- The candidates should be able to process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
- The candidates should be able to scan items
- The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services
- The candidates should be able to greet customers
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits and request proof of payment when necessary
