Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be proficient in operating a cash register and be able to process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
The candidates should know how to scan items and receive payment for goods or services
The candidates should be capable of calculating daily/shift payments received and reconciling them with total sales and engage in suggestive selling
The candidates should be able to stock shelves and clean the counter area, greet customers in a friendly manner, and wrap or place merchandise in bags
The candidates should provide excellent customer service
