Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization:Â Beef cattle
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to do beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, and large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, flexible, and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- The candidates should be able to do livestock branding, monitoring animal health
- The candidates should be able to do handling animals, maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to maintain livestock performance records
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records
- The candidates should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
