Work setting: Employer’s home, Staff accommodation provided, Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided, and Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Tagalog
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam, and Basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, willing to work overtime as required, experienced in performing repetitive tasks, and able to work under pressure
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, show initiative, exercise good judgment, and be organized

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and travel with the family on trips to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
