Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Work in employer’s/client’s home, and Room and board provided
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and comfortable with performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of weight handling and able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should be flexible, take initiative, and exercise good judgment
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player
- The candidates should have strong time management skills, be patient, and be honest
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework and cook
