Salary: $20.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexible, take initiative, and exercise judgement
• The candidates should be organized, demonstrate reliability, and have time management skills
• The candidates should be patient and demonstrate honesty

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• The candidates should be able to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, and tend to emotional well-being of children

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
