Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam, and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, perform repetitive tasks, handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be excellent in oral communication, be able to take initiative, be organized and be reliable

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to emotional well-being of children
