Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have twelve (12) months heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to operate power material handling equipment regularly for proper loading, weight balancing, and sequencing of unit loading devices
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with a good driving record
- The candidates should have the ability to operate manual transmission
- The candidates should hold air brake certification and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- The candidates should be able to multitask effectively and have organizational skills, especially while on the road
- The candidates should possess analytical ability
- The candidates must be able to communicate effectively between hub, station facility management, and dispatch
- The candidates should be receptive and adaptable to change
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities and/or pickup and delivery of large, skidded freight and/or multiple piece skidded shipments in a safe and responsible manner and with a sense of urgency
