EMBASSY GRAND CONVENTION CENTRE based in Brampton, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Cleaner, heavy duty. EMBASSY GRAND CONVENTION CENTRE is a leading banquet hall and convention centre for both indoor and outdoor weddings, wedding receptions, corporate events, galas and other events. Our halls can accommodate up to 2,500 guests, is newly renovated and features high ceilings, a large free parking lot and state of the art audiovisual capabilities. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
- The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances
- The candidates should be able to perform safety and security checks
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
