Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a Diploma in Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience using information management applications

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess front-line customer service skills, the ability to effectively exchange information
  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently and manage time and tasks
  • The candidates should have the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience reviewing or processing applications, customer service experience
  • The candidates should have experience in the financial services industry, knowledge of reviewing or processing applications and proficiency with information management applications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to receive client inquiries in person, via telephone, email, and postal mail, determining the nature of their requirements
  • The candidates should be able to review client applications or other submissions to ensure all information is in order
  • The candidates should be able to answer general inquiries and route inquiries to other staff as appropriate, terminate licensees/registrants upon receipt of proper documentation, update licensee information and receipt revenue
  • The candidates should be able to provide information and assistance to the general public, market participants, and the legal community concerning activities that require licensing or registration
  • The candidates should be able to advise and give direction to industry participants on annual filing requirements
  • The candidates should be able to support the work of the staff in the division and perform other duties
