Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completed a two-year diploma in Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience with administrative and clerical practices
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently, the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate resistance to stress
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience providing front-line customer service and experience performing monetary transactions and reconciliation
- The candidates should have knowledge of administrative and clerical practices and knowledge of receipting, handling, and reconciliation processes related to monetary transactions
- The candidates should possess front-line customer service skills, possess strong relationship-building skills and provide a recent and satisfactory Criminal Records Check from local police
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide a high level of customer service to clients of the Government Service Centre
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate accountability, integrity, and respect while delivering exceptional customer service
- The candidates should be able to accept and process applications for various government programs
- The candidates should be able to act as a single point of contact to ensure customer service needs are met
- The candidates should be able to explain in detail the requirements of various acts, regulations, and government programs
- The candidates should be able to collect revenue through cash, cheque, money order, credit, or debit card and balance daily amounts collected and prepare daily cashier deposits and process adjustments
- The candidates should be able to respond to telephone and in-person inquiries from the general public and client groups and perform other related duties
