Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have High School/ GED completion
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a Shannex Client Services Assistant Certificate, Personal/Home Support Worker Program, or equivalent qualification
- The candidates should have completed the Parkland Medication Administration Certificate Program or an equivalent program
- The candidates should hold a current CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification
- The candidates should be able to provide a clear Criminal Record Check
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medications as assigned under the direction of the Client Service Coordinator
- The candidates should be able to meet resident personal needs according to an individualized plan of service
- The candidates should be able to document according to facility policy and communicate pertinent and relevant information
- The candidates should be able to complete domestic functions for residents according to the service plan
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties and responsibilities required pending specific resident needs
