Salary: $24.00 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Yellowknife, NT
Shifts: Day, Weekend

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should demonstrate punctuality, focus on clients, and stay organized
  • The candidate should have the ability to multitask and be a quick learner

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material and answer inquiries and provide information to customers
  • The candidates should be able to arrange for refunds and credits, issue receipts and other forms, and order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to perform general office duties, receive payments, and sell merchandise
