Salary: $30.00 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Measuring tools: Micrometers, Callipers, and Gauges
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as oher trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Equipment and machinery experience: Milling machines, Sawing machine, Surface grinders, Tapping machines, Tool grinders, Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines, and Computer-aided design (CAD)
Computer and technology knowledge: Mastercam CAD/CAM and MS Outlook
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, and Safety glasses/goggles
Credentials: Machinist Trade Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks, physically demanding work, and capable of standing for extended periods
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to handle heavy loads, including weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should be accurate and demonstrate dependability
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication and demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should show initiative and be a team player
- The candidates should be quick learners and organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- The candidates should be able to repair machine tools and parts, set up and adjust production machinery/tools, and fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
