Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Computerized woodworking machine, Computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines and operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions and clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, read blueprints and drawings, and program CNC machine tools
