Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong attention to detail, and be capable of managing weight handling tasks effectively
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, and enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), and prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpieces into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, and clean and maintain the work space
