Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared to work in dusty environments
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling tasks that are demanding
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately
- The candidates should be able to lift weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as required for the job
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as per instructions
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials accurately and effectively
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under supervision
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials appropriately
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris from construction sites efficiently
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction as required
