Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle
Work setting: On-site customer service, Urban area
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook
Sales experience: Construction materials, tools and equipment, Electrical and electronic equipment
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract), Confidential security clearance, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
• The candidates should be able to distinguish between colors
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be client focus, organized, and reliable
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to promote sales to existing clients, identify and solicit potential clients, deliver sales presentations, estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
• The candidates should be able to assess the client’s needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services
• The candidates should be able to estimate the costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service, conduct sales transactions
• The candidates should be able to utilize sales/marketing software packages, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
• The candidates should be able to consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, resolve product and service-related problems
• The candidates should be able to review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions, provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to advertise and/or promote products, sales or services, provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
