Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone, and Gloves
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have attention to detail, be able to handle a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, and be physically demanding
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, be available for overtime, walk, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, demonstrate sound judgement, and be organized
• The candidates should be reliable, a team player, accurate, demonstrate dependability, and have excellent oral communication skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks, and demonstrate professionalism in customer service
• The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, keep a record of items received and delivered, and prepare, package, and restock goods
• The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, sort packages for delivery, follow directions, and read maps
• The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids, record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, provide customer service, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection while overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
