Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English, French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, or Mandarin Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have customer service experience within a call centre environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be eligible to work in Canada and available to work shifts, as we are a 24/7 operation
- The candidates should be effective, self-motivated multi-taskers who can work independently with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be available to attend and successfully pass our approximately twelve (12) week full-time paid initial training program and strong communication skills
- The candidates should be able to work effectively and independently with computer applications and online tools
- The candidates should speak English fluently. Priority will be given to candidates who speak English and French. As Canada’s most international airline, we would love to know if the candidates can speak one or more of the following languages in addition to English: French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, or Mandarin
- The candidates should have previous travel industry experience and find creative solutions to complex customer situations
- The candidates should have a working knowledge of computer applications and the internet
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be a knowledgeable source of information regarding flights, fares, destinations, and special offers
- The candidates should be able to use Air Canada’s in-house reservation system to make new flight reservations or modify existing bookings
- The candidates should be able to ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely resolutions to customer inquiries
