Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English, Nunavut are Inuktut and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of university degree in healthcare administration and business
Experience: Candidates should have at least two years of experience in a healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in database development and maintenance, business case analysis, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- The candidates should have experience in the development, utilization of multiple databases to support health decision-making
- The candidates should pass a Criminal Record Check, as this is a Highly Sensitive Position
- The candidates should be fluent in any of Nunavut’s official languages (Inuktut, English, or French) and fluency in more than one of Nunavut’s official languages
- The candidates should have knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, and Inuktut and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide critical information linking clients to departmental activity and financial resources, enabling effective decision-making and allowing IHS leadership and Accreditation Canada surveyors to assess benchmarks comparing IHS performance to national standards
- The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with IHS leadership to achieve and maintain effective financial management, control, and planning, while adhering to corporate accounting and control policies
- The candidates should be able to assess current capabilities and constraints at the Department of Health with respect to data analytics
- The candidates should be able to liaise with other Government of Nunavut departments, including CGS and E-Health
