Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Transportation/travel experience: Local and Regional
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be physically demanding, involving the handling of heavy loads
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong focus on client satisfaction and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work
- The candidates should be organized in their work approach and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, as well as operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products and operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
- The candidates should be able to start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
- The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
