Salary: $22.50 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Construction site

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to work in dusty environments
  • The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, able to perform repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit dependability and demonstrate reliability in their work
  • The candidates should be team players and hardworking individuals

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from work sites, ensuring timely delivery and safe handling, and assist in demolishing buildings by following instructions from supervisors and using appropriate tools and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal, contributing to the efficient management of construction waste, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants using proper safety protocols and equipment to minimize environmental impact and ensure worker safety
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and promoting safety for all workers
