Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of retail management experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to achieve and drive department and store sales
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to be a sales leader and role model to staff
  • The candidates should be able to enforce and personally deliver on the highest form of service standards
  • The candidates should be able to provide sales coaching and mentoring to sales staff
  • The candidates should be able to lead and ensure completion of a 3-month orientation for all department staff
  • The candidates should be able to provide continuous coaching and training to achieve “A Level” status in all department staff
  • The candidates should be able to disseminate all communication to the team as required, including merchandising and policy and procedure changes
  • The candidates should be able to initiate and enforce execution of pricing/signing, restocking, and receiving
  • The candidates should be able to execute on assigned department presentation as per seasonal merchandising planner
  • The candidates should be able to follow and enforce all corporate LP and OH&S policies and procedures and all cash and audit procedures as per Corporate Policy and Procedure Manual
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and execute on tech shop service and maintenance standards
  • The candidates should be able to monitor store weekly scheduling requirements and react when needed on a shift-by-shift basis
  • The candidates should be able to initiate and present plans for department improvements and strategies
  • The candidates should be able to assist and participate in the hiring process and complete performance reviews in a timely manner
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate availability for evening and weekend shifts as it is a requirement for this role
