Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their commitments

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
The candidates should be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
The candidates should be able to order parts, maintain inventory, and adjust equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts
The candidates should be able to keep maintenance reports and documentation, test repaired equipment for proper performance, and ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
The candidates should be able to clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work, including repair work on heavy trucks and servicing attachments and working tools
The candidates should be able to verify and repair emission control systems and perform other routine maintenance
