Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work as a Directs Store Delivery Associate at Walmart Canada, which is a great way to develop skills in the retail industry
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and efficiently process direct and local merchandise for delivery to the salesfloor to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty
- The candidates should be able to consider working as a Directs Store Delivery Associate if they are seeking an exciting job opportunity in customer service or retail
- The candidates should be able to ensure high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
- The candidates should be able to process direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise, alcohol, and receiving of warehouse trailers.
- The candidates should be able to train other DSD Associates to follow all receiving area processes
- The candidates should be able to ensure a clean receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTR’S for prompt shipment with all necessary documentation
- The candidates should be able to follow and promote safety rules for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, ladders, etc.
- The candidates should be able to work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to effectively correct any problems or discrepancies
- The candidates should be able to safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines
- The candidates should be able to follow guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance, including documenting all necessary information on the Receiving Temperature Log / Sure Check App
