Salary: $28.50 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to work overtime when required

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, oversee the condition of the vehicle, and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections while overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
• The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
