Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection while overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
- The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
