Salary: $19.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: St. John’s, NL
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Local, Short-haul
Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trip reports
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Stone slinger, Concrete mixing, Dump truck
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 3 or D)
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be capable of handling physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
