Salary: $24.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 yearsÂ
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), child development supervisor (ECE level 3), child development worker (ECE level 2), First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, immunization records, tuberculosis test, and vulnerable sector check

- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their attendance and task completion, and demonstrate dependability and reliability in fulfilling their duties consistently.
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in meeting deadlines and delivering quality work, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- The candidates should possess the ability to multitask efficiently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, engage in storytelling, and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
