CEFA is a distinguished early learning school offering an enriched curriculum that combines academics with arts for children aged one to five. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be prepared to perform repetitive tasks, have strong attention to detail, and be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, demonstrate punctuality, and be dependable
  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, and be flexible
  • The candidates should be reliable, effective team players, and demonstrate flexibility

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and engage children through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth, guide and assist children in proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • The candidates should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • The candidates should be able to discuss the progress and challenges of children at staff meetings
