Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in an air-conditioned environment
• The candidates should be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity for precise hand movements, which is essential for the job requirements

• The candidates should prioritize punctuality, consistently arriving on time for work and meetings, and demonstrate dependability in fulfilling their duties and commitments reliably

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform caregiving tasks such as bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers with care and attention
• The candidates should be able to engage children in various activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and crafting, to foster creativity and expression
• The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest for enriching experiences
• The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits for their well-being
• The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment, assist in housekeeping, and participate in cooking duties to ensure a clean and safe environment
• The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as necessary
• The candidates should possess knowledge of licensing regulations governing daycare operations and ensure compliance with them
• The candidates should attend staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and issues, contributing constructively to discussions
• The candidates should plan and maintain an environment that prioritizes the health, security, and well-being of children at all times
