Salary: $15.20 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 hours per week

Shifts: Day, 09:00 to 17:00

Work setting: Quick print company, relocation costs not covered by employer, in-house print shop, commercial or in-house printers, manufacture

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Signs/billboards, neon signs, graphic design, custom fabrication
Equipment and machinery experience: Computerized high-speed color copiers, printing machine, shears
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract), criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads, with a strong attention to detail and demonstrating hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and able to stand for extended periods, comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors, meet tight deadlines, and handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus, be organized, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and equipment, replace worn parts on machines, and review work orders to determine job specifications
- The candidates should be able to set up and make adjustments to printing machines, input codes and key in programming data on the console keyboard of computerized machines, and operate and monitor printing machines during print runs, making necessary adjustments
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and program CNC machine tools
