Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business
Experience: Candidates should have four years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be familiar with workshop facilitation, job development, job search services, intakes, and assessments
- The candidates should have a solid network of community resources to support clients effectively, understand budgetary and case management concepts
- The candidates should demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in their approach to service delivery
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have another related field, or possess an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience, a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others
- The candidates should excel in interviewing techniques and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, strong planning, organizational, and crisis intervention abilities
- The candidates should have a strong client service focus and an awareness of how culture, socioeconomic status, gender, age, and sexual orientation influence client experiences
- The candidates should be able to meet deadlines and handle challenging situations with professionalism and poise
- The candidates should be fluent in multiple languages, experience with Employment Support and Income Assistance (ESIA) policies and legislation
- The candidates should be aware of Occupational Health and Safety responsibilities, qualify under one of the following equivalencies, A completed related 2-year diploma combined with two (2) years of related experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct employability assessments and provide counselling and case management services
- The candidates should be able to facilitate workshops, support job development and job search services, and provide appropriate referrals
- The candidates should be able to perform intakes, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate client records
- The candidates should be able to deliver general and specialized case management services and offer consultation
- The candidates should be able to communicate outcomes to applicants and refer individuals to appropriate programs and community resources
