Salary: $20.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Woodbridge, ON
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Room and board provided, and Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be non-smoking
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, have client focus, and demonstrate dependability
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral communication, and demonstrate flexibility
• The candidates should show initiative, exhibit good judgment, and be organized

• The candidates should display honesty

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer medications, feed or assist in feeding, and launder clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and provide personal care
• The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and cook
