Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor, Farm truck, Lift truck, Loader, Planting equipment, Vegetable harvester

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks and handle repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be able to work overtime when required and distinguish between colours and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to walk for extended periods and bend, crouch, and kneel

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be organized, able to work as a team player, and have efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should be flexible and able to demonstrate judgement

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops and harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to examine product for quality and its readiness for the market and write daily basic progress reports and hand harvest vegetables
• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row and divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
