Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 35 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, Relocation costs not covered by employer
Supervision: 5-10 people
Type of crops: Blueberries, Raspberries
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience: Bulk handling system, Harvesters, Vegetable or fruit harvester
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Gloves
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do greenhouse cleaning, harvesting seedlings
- The candidates should be able to do soil fertility programs, and assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
- The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, develop work schedules and establish procedures, maintain quality control and production records
- The candidates should be able to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform general farm duties
