Salary: $15.65 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts: To be determined
Work Site Environment: Other miscellaneous crop farming, Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato), Outdoors, Wet/damp, Hot
Work Setting: Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 7 months to 1 year
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Vegetable harvester
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads and should have the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidate should be able to work for overtime hours
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to perform tasks such as Hand harvesting vegetables, Stone and/or wood picking and Weeding
