Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, pick row and orchard crops, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
- The candidates should be able to shear and shape trees and plants with a knife, train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality, and weed
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, examine product for quality and its readiness for the market, and set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
