Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Dairy cattle
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work in corn farming, hay farming, livestock combination farming, outdoors, soybean farming, wheat farming, and grain, oil and forage crop
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible, judgmental, should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do handling animals and monitoring animal health
- The candidates should be able to do stone and/or wood picking and weeding
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, feed and tend animals
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, milk cows
- The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, perform general farm duties
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records, maintain work records and logs
