Salary: $15.30 to $18.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in hog and pig farming and be skilled in hog management
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and have strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and have the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, a team player, and flexible
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle animals, mark livestock as proof of ownership, and monitor animal health
- The candidates should be able to perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medications, identifying piglets, and castration, and wean
- The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals, clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
