Salary: $16.55 to $16.60 hourly (to be negotiated) / 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Rural area, Remote location

Type of crops: Blueberries, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflowers, Garlic, Ginger, Raspberries, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Zucchinis
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Sprayer or duster, Vegetable harvester
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination and distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and sound discrimination
- The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp area, in fruit and vegetable combination farming, in odours, in other vegetables and melon farming (except potato), and at heights
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, flexible and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do cleaning crop, clipping, fruit trees training, greenhouse cleaning
- The candidates should be able to do hand harvesting vegetables, harvesting seedlings
- The candidates should be able to do mixing fertilizer, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, seed cutting
- The candidates should be able to do vegetable culling, fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops
