Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education in a finance or business-related program
Experience: Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to live and teach Maple Leaf Leadership Values be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- The candidates should be self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of SAP and experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- The candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
- The candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial functions
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure results are correctly reported and provide daily and weekly production reports for their area
- The candidates should be able to investigate variances, determine root causes, analyze production trends, and recommend actions to minimize, improve discrepancies and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- The candidates should be able to perform inventory analytics, articulate write-off risks, assess reserve requirements, and coordinate, facilitate inventory counts and conduct overhead variance reporting and analytics
- The candidates should be able to participate in and support the annual budget process, month-end close activities, and weekly results forecasting
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with the Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Manager on special projects
- The candidates should be able to provide coverage for finance team members and and design, test, implement, and maintain financial procedures
- The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with Maple Leaf reporting and financial analysis processes and execute testing and actively participate in Six Sigma projects
