Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in financial planning and investment sales
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be working towards or have successfully obtained the title of Personal Financial Planner, IQPF in Quebec
- The candidates should be a certified mutual fund professional with current accreditation and in good standing with the MFDA (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) licensing requirements
- The candidates should be goal-oriented, enterprising, and capable of working independently as a motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team
- The candidates should have knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment
- The candidates should be bilingual in French and English, as they will serve both English and French-speaking clients
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth management, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to help clients achieve their financial goals
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate natural curiosity in discovering and meeting client needs, offering reliable financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning
- The candidates should be able to work autonomously and performance-driven, uncovering clients’ needs through active listening and providing personalized financial strategies and solutions
- The candidates should be able to engage with clients effectively, educating them with relevant information and expert advice
- The candidates should be able to take a collaborative approach when working with peers, clients, and partners to foster strong relationships and provide comprehensive financial solutions
