Salary: $27.50 hourly for 32 hours per week

Location: 5669 Market St, Union Bay, BC V0R 3B0, Canada
Shifts: Day

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable in/on water and in cold/refrigerated environments
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be physically demanding, have attention to detail, and possess hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate dependability, flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to feed aquaculture stock, clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures, and transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers
  • The candidates should be able to dig shellfish from shellfish beds, clean, sort, and pack shellfish, and grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
